Inbound links

Recent opinion in a number of SEO forums seem to beleive that Google has reduced the importance of inbound links, and is placing more emphases on valuable content. I dont think this is the case, as am a firm on the opinion that Google rates both equally, inbound links from an external site indicates vauable content to another site as stated in Google webmaster forum. Dont beleive everything you read - inbound from relative content are valuable!
